The Tuesday Ritual
The wood oven is lit at four. Dough proved for forty-eight hours, blistered in ninety seconds, carried out to the lawn or the fireside. Five until nine, no ceremony.

Fridays & Saturdays · 2pm — 4pm
Pastries, scones warm from the oven and loose leaf under the glass roof.
Late November — December
The long room dressed in candlelight for twenty to a hundred and twenty. Three courses, crackers and carols in the bar after.
Last weekend of July
Two days on the meadow — live folk, the tipi bar, a hog on the spit and camping under the cedars.
Pre-ordering
For Christmas parties, the festival and afternoon tea we ask for menu choices two weeks ahead so the kitchen can buy properly.
Deposits
A £10 per head deposit secures a date and is deducted from the final bill.
Private Hire
The barn, the garden room or the whole house — from twelve guests to two hundred.
